  1. Hi Blanca, I have the same question as above. What handlebars are you using? I like the looks of it and am very interested in your thoughts about it on your Surly. The down type that is standard on the LRT has put me off so would love your opinion. My LBS has recommended the Surly Troll to get upright bars but am still on the fence.

      Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner. Internet connection has been poor in Kyrgyztan. Now in China it is better.

      After 13,000 km I love my handlebars. They allow me lots of different positions when riding. I find then specially useful when going uphill. I tried several and in the end I went for these ones. Mine are Ergotec L6061 T6.

      Maybe your bike shop will let you try several until you find the ones you like. Mine did but then I just got the frame and customized all the components.
